This June (5th), the initial collection of apartments at the prestigious Windsor Point Luton development, by Via Developments Plc, will launch for sale. Heading up the Via Developments project team for Windsor Point is director David Harris MBE.

David is a recognised and experienced professional within the Construction Industry, with over 30 years of practical experience. With a proven track record of developing profitable companies and building successful teams, David has extensive experience working both in public and private sectors.

His construction expertise has been developed over 30 years whilst working with the likes of Pearce Construction in Bristol and the Welsh Division of The Cowlin Group were he built the company up from a £30m business to a £100m business in just 5 years. Throughout his career David has also directly managed and overseen countless construction projects valuing well in excess of £168 million.

During the sale of the Cowlin Group to Balfour Beatty in 2007 David was an integral part of the team responsible for the sale and remained with Balfour Beatty until 2013 as Managing Director for Wales and the West of England. David is a trustee of the Construction Industry Training Board, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, the Institution of Civil Engineers and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. It was during David’s time here he was part of the division that was responsible for delivering the Aquatics Centre for the London Olympics and Blackfriars Bridge Station and bridge refurbishment, amongst other schemes, turning over £650m PA.

David was also awarded an MBE in 2012 for ‘Services to Education and Training in the Construction Industry’.

David has developed his career by moving through the industry from a junior level to Managing Director of a £100m turnover business and Main Board Director of a £650m turnover business and has a keen eye for detail.
